Picture booking four Alton Towers tickets for half term and wondering if your Blue Light Card helps. It does, because members get up to 15% off tickets at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and LEGOLAND Windsor through a member link.

Drayton Manor takes up to 7% off with a code, and Blackpool Pleasure Beach has a code too. Paultons Park is the big exception. It gives no Blue Light Card discount at all.
We checked every offer below on 24 October 2026. Prices change by date, so compare the member price with each park’s own online price.
Merlin Parks Lead at 15%
Three Merlin parks give the largest member discounts. The independent parks use codes, or nothing at all.

The rates come from each park’s Blue Light Card offer page, plus Drayton Manor’s own Blue Light Card page. Blue Light Card’s theme park page says participating parks can change, so check the app before you book.
Alton Towers Needs No Code
Blue Light Card’s Alton Towers page offers up to 15% off theme park tickets and up to 10% off hotel stays. There’s no code to type. The member price applies automatically when you click through from your account.
Member pricing covers entry to the theme park and the waterpark, where tickets start from £15. Blue Light Card’s current offer reads 15% off, with tickets from £28. Our Alton Towers guide has more on the park.
Thorpe Park Gives 15% Online
Thorpe Park works the same way. Blue Light Card’s Thorpe Park page lists 15% off tickets and up to 10% off a hotel stay, again with no code.
Its FAQ says discounted tickets must be booked online through Blue Light Card, and availability varies by date and ticket type. On Thorpe Park’s own site, day tickets start at £39 online, with a £66 walk up price.
LEGOLAND Windsor and Peak Dates
LEGOLAND Windsor uses the member link as well. Members get up to 15% off tickets and up to 10% off stays in the resort’s hotels, applied when they click through.
The catch is timing. Blue Light Card’s FAQ warns that some peak dates may not be discounted, and its page title still says up to 10%, so check the basket price for your date. LEGOLAND’s own online tickets start at £32, against a £68 standard price, and children under 90cm go free.
Chessington Rates Need a Login
Chessington World of Adventures appears on Blue Light Card’s theme park page. It isn’t in the A to Z, though, and we couldn’t find a public offer page showing its rate, so you’ll only see the saving once you log in.
The 4% Merlin Gift Card works there too, and Chessington’s own online tickets start at £32, against £68 at the gate.
Three Parks Outside Merlin
Away from Merlin, two big parks use codes and one family favourite gives nothing.
Drayton Manor Takes Up to 7%
Drayton Manor’s own Blue Light Card page offers members up to 7% off day tickets. You get a unique code from your Blue Light Card account and enter it at checkout on the Drayton Manor website.
Take the card with you, because the park asks to see it on entry. Day tickets start at £27.50 for ages 4 and up, plus a £2 transaction fee, so the full 7% would take about £1.93 off each one. A ticket covers over 50 rides and attractions, Thomas Land and a 15-acre zoo.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach Codes
Blue Light Card’s Pleasure Beach page has a code for All You Can Ride tickets booked online. The code is copied and emailed to you, and you paste it in at checkout. The public page doesn’t show the rate.
Check your employer too. The park’s own Employee Rewards Scheme gives 10% off online tickets for up to 10 people, if your organisation has signed up. The scheme includes NHS trusts and councils, and staff ID or a recent payslip is checked at the gate.
Paultons Park Offers No Discount
Paultons Park says it has no Blue Light Card discount, and no NHS, student or Forces discount either. That covers Peppa Pig World, which is inside the park, and Paultons isn’t in Blue Light Card’s A to Z.
The park also warns that codes from other websites won’t work, and tickets bought elsewhere may be refused at the gate. Booking ahead on its own website is the main saving, which Paultons puts at over 20% on 2026 day tickets compared with paying on the day.
Merlin Cards and Member Days
Two more options sit alongside the member prices. The Merlin Gift Card is a small saving that’s always there, while Member Days are rare and sell out fast.
4% Off a Merlin Gift Card
Blue Light Card sells the Merlin Gift Card at 4% below face value, so £100 to spend costs £96. You buy it in your account, then spend it online at over 30 Merlin attractions, from Alton Towers and Chessington to Warwick Castle and SEA LIFE.
It pays for tickets, hotel stays, Fastrack and VIP experiences, and one card can be split across attractions. It can’t be used in person at the parks or part-pay a booking, so buy enough to cover the full cost. The balance lasts 12 months from purchase.

Member Days Close the Gates
On a Member Day, an attraction closes to the public and opens only to Blue Light Card members. The 2026 events came with discounted tickets, free parking and 10% off in the on-site shops.
Blue Light Card’s 2026 list took in Alton Towers on 7 March, LEGOLAND Windsor on 8 March, Warwick Castle on 7 June and Twycross Zoo on 20 September. Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights dates on 7 and 8 November had already sold out when we checked.
You can buy up to six tickets, but you must go too, with your card and one other form of ID. Tickets are non-refundable, and an annual pass won’t get you in, according to the Member Days FAQ.
£108.80 for Four at Alton Towers
Take two adults and two children over 90cm on one of Alton Towers’ cheapest dates. Day passes cost £32 each online, so four come to £128.
If the member link takes the full 15% off, the family pays £108.80 for all four, a saving of £19.20. The same tickets would cost £272 at the gate, at £68 a head.
Busy dates cost more, and Blue Light Card says up to 15%, so compare the basket with Alton Towers’ own price for your day. At Drayton Manor, four tickets for ages 4 and up cost £110 plus the £2 fee, and the full 7% would take £7.70 off.
Whichever park you choose, start in the Blue Light Card app or website, not on the park’s own site. Search for the park and open its offer. At Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and LEGOLAND Windsor, you click through and the member price applies at checkout. At Drayton Manor and Pleasure Beach, the offer copies a code, which you paste in at the online checkout.
Book before you travel, because these discounts are for online bookings. Then take the card, since Drayton Manor and the Member Days check it on arrival. Our guide to using the card covers each type of offer.
