Samsung’s Blue Light Card discount is usually 10% off Samsung.com prices. Blue Light Card advertises up to 25%, but Samsung says the rate varies by product.
Blue Light Guide is an independent guide and isn’t affiliated with Blue Light Card Ltd. For your account, verification or payments, use the official Blue Light Card website or app.
There’s no code to type in. You click through to Samsung’s private member store, and the prices drop once you’re inside.
The other catch is that you may not need the card. Samsung runs its own check for NHS staff, teachers and other key workers, through a partner called GoCertify.
Samsung’s Private Store at 10%
Samsung calls the store its Enhanced Partnership Program. Its key worker page describes a private discount site that only opens once you’ve been verified.
On price, Samsung’s own answer is a usual 10% saving, based on Samsung.com pricing. The same answer promises extra offers that don’t appear on the public site.

Blue Light Card Says Up to 25%
Blue Light Card’s Samsung page pitches it higher, with up to 25% off on its offer tile. Both claims can be true, because the rate depends on the product.

Samsung’s key worker page doesn’t say which lines get more, but its student offers page gives a clue. On 24 October 2026 it listed up to 25% off Odyssey and Smart monitors and up to 20% off The Frame TVs. Its footnotes say those offers also apply in the Enhanced Partnership Program.
Blue Light Card says the store covers Samsung phones, tablets, TVs, wearables and accessories, with new devices included as soon as they launch.
No Samsung Shopping Card to Stack
Some brands work through a discounted gift card instead. Apple is one, at 2%, as our Apple Blue Light Card guide explains.
Samsung isn’t one of them. Blue Light Card’s gift card list has no Samsung card, so there’s nothing to buy first and no second discount to stack. Samsung works the saving out from its own prices, so the member price moves whenever Samsung.com prices do.
Press Get Discount in the App
Blue Light Card’s help centre calls this a dedicated website offer, so claiming it is quick. Log in to the Blue Light Card app or website and search for Samsung. Open the offer and press the Get discount button.
Samsung’s site then opens with member prices already applied, so there’s no code to copy. Shop and pay on Samsung’s site as normal. Its key worker page advertises free delivery and 14-day returns.
Before you pay, compare the basket with the public price. If nothing has come off, Blue Light Card’s advice is to clear your cache and cookies, then click through from the offer again. Once an order goes through at full price, you’d have to take it up with Samsung under its own policies.
GoCertify and 22 Benefit Platforms
Blue Light Card is only one way in. Samsung’s FAQ lists several routes into the same discount site, starting with its own check. Key workers in healthcare, education, the emergency services, the military, social care or the civil service verify with a valid ID, email or payslip through GoCertify.

Samsung doesn’t mention a fee for that check, so it could save you the £4.99 if Samsung is all you want. Defence Discount Service and Discounts for Teachers members can log in through those schemes. So can staff whose employer offers one of the 22 benefit platforms on Samsung’s list, including Reward Gateway, Perkbox and nhsstaffbenefits.
Retired staff are where the card earns its fee. Blue Light Card’s Samsung page marks most of its listed jobs, from NHS workers to the police, as including retired members, while Samsung’s own check asks you to verify your employment.

A Separate Store for Under 26s
Students and anyone aged 16 to 26 use Samsung’s Student and Youth Store instead. You verify with photo ID, a student ID, an academic email, UNiDAYS or Student Beans.
Samsung says savings there are usually up to 15% on selected products. Blue Light Card has no student category, as our guide to the Blue Light Card for students explains. If you’re 26 or under and in an eligible job, compare both stores before you buy.
£699 Galaxy S26 FE at Three Shops
One real phone shows how the routes compare. On 24 October 2026, the Galaxy S26 FE with 128GB cost £699 at Samsung, Currys and Argos.

10% Against Currys at 5.5%
With the same starting price, the rate decides it. The member store row uses Samsung’s usual 10%.
| Route | Rate | You pay | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full price at all three | None | £699.00 | Nothing |
| Samsung member store | Usually 10% | £629.10 | £69.90 |
| Currys Shopping Card | 5.5% | £660.56 | £38.44 |
| Argos Shopping Card | 4% | £671.04 | £27.96 |
At the usual rate, the member store comes out £31.46 cheaper than Currys and £41.94 cheaper than Argos. Both cards can pay for this phone, because the Currys card’s phone exclusion covers iPhones only and Argos lists the S26 FE with no Trusted Seller label.
Treat £629.10 as a guide. Samsung only shows the member price once you’re inside, and this phone could sit above or below the usual 10%. The Currys and Argos cards come through Blue Light Card, so they need the £4.99 membership, while Samsung’s own check can get you into the member store without it.
Under £666 the Currys Card Wins
A cheaper shop can flip the result, because Samsung works its saving out from its own price. The 5.5% Currys card wins once Currys is about 5% cheaper than Samsung, which on this phone means under about £666. Argos needs a gap of about 6%, or a price under about £655.

Bigger prices widen the gap in pounds. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra cost £1,899 at both Samsung and Argos on 24 October, so the usual 10% would save £189.90, against £75.96 with an Argos card.
Check the extras as well, such as a free gift with the phone, since one can be worth more than the gap between the routes. Our Currys guide covers its Shopping Card and laptop codes, and our Argos guide explains where its card works.
Trade In and Black Friday Timing
An old phone and the calendar can both bring the price down further.
Send Your Old Phone in 14 Days
Samsung’s trade-in scheme takes an old phone, tablet or smartwatch off the price of a new Galaxy at checkout. It accepts other brands too, as long as you’re buying a new Galaxy device.
Then you post the old device in the prepaid packaging within 14 days. If it doesn’t arrive, or its condition doesn’t match your description, you may have to repay the discount.
Samsung’s key worker page points members to the same scheme. It doesn’t say how each trade-in deal combines with member prices, so check the basket total before you pay.
27 November Deals for Key Workers
Samsung’s Black Friday page puts the day itself on 27 November 2026, though it hasn’t fixed its sale dates yet. It says many Black Friday offers also reach its stores for key workers and teachers, so a phone that can wait is worth pricing again then.
A new phone still needs a plan, and our mobile discounts guide covers the networks. For a washing machine or fridge, our home appliance discounts guide compares the brands.
