Is there an adidas Blue Light discount? Yes, members can buy adidas gift cards at 9% off through Blue Light Card. A separate code adds an extra 10% on selected items.

Nike’s bigger saving is a code. It takes 10% off full price items on the Nike website and app, but Nike excludes some colourways, such as the all-white Air Force 1. A Nike Shopping Card saves 5% instead, and it works on sale items too.
We checked every offer below on 24 October 2026, along with Nike’s own terms. The adidas code’s full rules only show once you log in.
Two Codes and Two Gift Cards
Each brand has a code and a Shopping Card, which is a gift card sold below face value.

On full price kit, the codes save more. A Shopping Card is just a way to pay, so at Nike it also covers sale items and SNKRS releases.
Can you use a code and a Shopping Card on one order? Blue Light Card doesn’t say for either brand. Nike’s code terms and gift card terms don’t cover it either, so check your total before you pay.
The adidas Blue Light Discount
Blue Light Card lists two adidas offers, and they work in different ways.
A 9% Card for adidas Online
Blue Light Card’s adidas gift card page sells adidas gift cards at 9% below face value, so a £100 card costs £91. There’s no code to enter, because the saving is built into the price.
You buy the card in your Blue Light Card account and spend it on an online order at adidas, across the full range. The page only mentions online orders, so don’t plan on using it in an adidas shop.
An Extra 10% on Selected Items
The second offer is a code. Blue Light Card’s adidas discount code page headlines it as an extra 10%, and its gift card page says the code works on selected orders.
The public pages stop there. The FAQ says sale items depend on the offer terms, and where to use the code only shows once you log in, so read the terms in the app first.
On £100 of kit that qualifies, the code saves £10 and the card £9. Outside the code’s selection, the card is the safer bet.
The adidas adiClub membership unlocks discount vouchers, according to its app listing. Blue Light Card’s discounts usually can’t be combined with other promo codes, so expect to pick one or the other.
Nike’s Code Skips SNKRS Releases
Blue Light Card’s Nike page promises 10% off full price, on online orders only. Its Nike gift card page lists Air Force 1s, Air Max, Dunks and P6000s among the styles the code covers.
Nike’s own promo code terms add the detail. You need to be signed in as a Nike Member, which is free, and each code is single use. Codes can’t be combined with other promotions either, so the 10% won’t sit on top of a sale price.
The terms also rule out SNKRS releases, Member Products such as First Access, Apple products, Nike By You and Jersey By You designs, and gift cards. Nike adds that other exclusions apply, and flagged items say so on their product page.
Returns follow the code. Nike refunds the discounted price you paid, and a single-use code can’t be used again, even if you send the whole order back.
The 5% Nike Shopping Card fills the gaps. Nike’s gift card terms let it pay on the Nike website and app, on SNKRS and in select Nike-owned stores. Blue Light Card lists Nike stores too, but Nike warns that not every store accepts gift cards.
Nike says its gift cards have no expiry date, though Blue Light Card’s FAQ mentions two years, so spend the balance within that time to be safe.
Nike’s own community discount gives teachers, emergency services, medical professionals and military 5% off full price through SheerID, with a €50 minimum spend or the pound equivalent. Blue Light Card’s code is double that, and Nike’s terms stop you combining the two.
Same £109.99 Shoe in Two Colours
Here’s how the Nike routes play out on real nike.com prices from 24 October 2026. Say you want Air Force 1 ’07s for yourself and older kids’ Air Force 1s for your child.
The kids’ pair costs £74.99 at full price with no exclusion line, so the code takes it to £67.49. For the adult pair, colour decides it. The all-white and the black Air Force 1 ’07 both cost £109.99, but the white pair’s page says it’s excluded from site promotions and discounts.
Choose the black pair and the code takes £11 off it, so the bag drops from £184.98 to £166.48, saving £18.50. With the white pair, the code only saves £7.50.
A Nike Shopping Card works on either pair, since Nike lets gift cards pay for anything except other gift cards. At 5%, it saves £9.25, more than the code manages with the white pair.
P-6000s need the same check, since two colourways carried that exclusion line too.
Sale stock turns it round. A Dunk Low Retro SE was down to £76.99 from £109.99. The code can’t be used on it, but the 5% card brings it to about £73.14.
The £11 off the black pair alone covers the £4.99 Blue Light Card fee twice over.
Order Direct When JD Says No
JD Sports takes 10% off full price online too, but its code skips a long list. On 24 October, JD’s code exclusions list held more than 900 products, including 460 from adidas and 115 from Nike.
JD’s help pages add another catch. Its discounts don’t work on items delivered directly by brand partners, and Nike and adidas are both named. Those items only come with standard delivery.
Buying from the brand gets round both rules, though Nike’s own flags still apply. JD’s list included the Air Max 95 that day, while Nike’s Air Max 95 Big Bubble page at £174.99 showed no exclusion line. For the Nike code, the steps run like this.
- Log in to the Blue Light Card app or website and search for Nike.
- Open the Nike offer and select Copy Discount Code.
- Follow the link through to Nike. The code is copied to your device automatically.
- Sign in to your Nike Member account, then add full price items that aren’t marked as excluded.
- Open the Summary box in your bag, select the promo code option, paste the code and select Apply.
- Check the 10% has come off before you pay.
In the Nike app, tap “Have a promo code?” in your bag instead. For adidas, search for adidas in the Blue Light Card app and pick the gift card or the code.
